Lighthouse for the Blind

Fielded a CATI survey of 250 clients of the Lighthouse to determine their satisfaction with city services and their thoughts on priorities for the use of future funding. This project included statistical analysis of the data.

Small Businesses

Fielded a CATI survey of 475 small businesses throughout the San Francisco area. The City of San Francisco wanted to determine whether or not they needed to have policies in place to insure that all kinds of firms have a fair opportunity to win government or public contracts.

Gill Foundation, Gay Marriage Survey

Fielded a CATI survey of 2500 households across the country to gauge the level of acceptance of and comfort with the idea of gay marriage.

Development of PRO instrument measuring the impact of Peyronie's Disease

THG developed this PRO instrument after conducting a series of focus groups and in-depth interviews, as well as two separate validity studies conducted with men with Peyronie's Disease as well as men with normal sexual functioning. A final report of all findings was produced for the client. Men were recruited into the study from 15 cities across the country and a strategy of patient/control matching was employed. The results from this work are currently being submitted to several journals for publication.

Development of PRO instrument measuring sexual functioning in men

The development of the Men's Sexual Health Questionnaire began with a series of focus groups and in-depth interviews, and was followed by two quantitative validity studies. The results of this project was a new PRO instrument measuring sexual functioning in men.

Medicare

120 Medicare beneficiaries were recruited in four cities to attend focus groups to discuss their experiences with the new Medicare Part D prescription drug plan.
