THG and WHR Working Towards HUBZone and Authority to Operate (ATO) Approvals

As part of its ongoing efforts to address the needs of underserved communities, THG has begun the process to apply for HUBZone certification. The HUBZone, or Historically Underutilized Business Zone Program, provides small businesses located in traditionally underserved communities preferential access to projects funded by the federal government.

As of April 2023, THG will move its San Francisco offices to a new HUBZone location. The Waller Hall Research office in Greybull, Wyoming is expected to be eligible for HUBZone status later in 2023.

THG has also begun the process of procuring an Authority to Operate or ATO with federal government agencies. With the completion of this work expected by the fourth quarter of 2023, federal agencies can be assured that when awarding THG contracts requiring ATO certification, THG will be able to quickly comply and move forward. When awarded, this Federal Government designation will certify that THG complies with network security guidelines and requirements and is authorized to work with agencies like the CDCFDACMS, and SAMHSA.

“Both our HUBZone and ATO certifications will further distinguish THG’s ability to increase our presence in underserved communities and comply with critical security protocols,” said THG President and CEO, Jeff Henne. “The Henne Group is constantly evolving to meet the needs of our current and prospective clients and contractors,” he said.
